FAQ

Q10. 履修許可された学生（東工大）は履修追加申告の用紙に、指導教員の署名をもらい、３月３日に持参してください。
用紙は原本が必要です。指導教員の研究室に行けない場合には、用紙を指導教員に郵送して署名を依頼してください。
署名された用紙を学内便でＷ9-14文系科目事務室へ送るように依頼してください。

Tokyo Tech studnns have to ask advisory professor to sing on the form of Course Addition. Bringit with you on 3rd March.
We will collect forms of all students.
Exceptionally in case you cannot visit to youradvisory professor to ask his/her signature:

(1)Send the "original form" of CourseAddition to your advisory professor by postal mail and ask him/her to sign onit (2)Ask your advisory professor send it to Tokyo Tech MailBoxＷ9-14 Bunkei-Jim-Office.

Q1. 履修登録がシステムからできません。どうすればよいですか？
A. 応募書類により選考し、履修が許可された後に手続きを知らせます。

I cannot enroll this course throug registration system. How can I do?
After selection, we will notice the procedure to register this course.

Q2. 春休みに開講されますが、単位はいつ発行されますか？
A. 2018年4Qの単位です。
2019年1Qの単位ではありません。

This program will hold in spring vacation. When will a credit be issued?
It is 4th Q in 2018 courses. Not 1st Q in 2019.

Q3. 「キャンプ」と書いてありますが、宿泊が必要ですか？
A. 宿泊は含まれません。３日間自宅等からキャンパスに来てください。

Dose "Camp" mean that students need to stay at somewhere in the campus?
You do not need to stay in the campus in the night. Please come from your home.

Q4. 「3日間参加できること」が条件にありますが、一部分用事があって出られません。
履修することはできますか？
A. 全ての日程に参加する必要があります。予定がある場合は応募しないでください。

I have a schedule in a part of 3 days program. Can I apply this program?
No. You need to complete whole program.

Q5. 博士教養文系科目を履修したことがあります。内容は同じですか？
A. 一部分に共通する部分はありますが、国際交流プログラム向けに開発された独自のプログラムです。

I have already registered a doctoral liberal arts course (Path-Breaking / Individual StudiesCourses).
Is this program the same?
No it isn't. The purpose of some sessions is common to these courses.
Most of sessions are originally designed for international exchange programs.

Q6. 募集要項の"healthy consideration"はどのような意味ですか？
A. 特別な健康上の配慮が必要な場合に、スタッフに事前に相談できるようにするための質問です。
相談が必要ない場合は、NOを選択してください。

In the application form, there is a question about "healthy consideration". What does it mean?
If you would like to special request to consider your healthy condition, you can consult us about care.
If you do not have any afraid of it, please mark NO.

Q7. 英語が苦手な場合に選考で不利になりますか？
A. 英語が苦手な人のためには事前学習の案内をします。

I am not good at speaking English. is it unfavorable at the selection?
We can introduce quick learning of English to students.

Q8. 異なる学年の学生のグループワークにどのにょうに参加すればよいですか？
A. 良い機会になります。学年や専門分野を気にせずに応募してください。

What do I do in a group work with young students?
Do not hasitate to apply. It is a good oportunity to communicate with others.

Q9. 四大学連合(一橋大、東京医科歯科大、東京外語大）の大学院生です。参加するにはどうすればよいですか?
A. 二つの手続を必ずしてください。
(1)特別聴講学生として自大学の教務課で科目履修の手続と、
(2)スプリングスクールのapplication formを提出してください。
*四大学連合以外の授業料不徴収の協定がある大学院の場合も同様です。

I am a student in an university of Four University Alliance (Hitotsubasi University, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, or Tokyo University of Foreign Studies). How can I participate thisprogram?
You should, as soon as possible,
(1) register a corresponding course at your university's student division (Kyoumu-Ka), and
(2) produce the application form to >> bunkei@jim.titech.ac.jp
*A graduate student in an university concluding a tuition waiver agreement with Tokyo Tech has to consult to your university's student division.
